Pre-Requisites

The MCDBA Boot Camp is designed for I.T. Professionals with at least six months of experience with SQL Server/Oracle or other legacy database products such as MS Access or MS Foxpro.While not required, if you have your MCSE certifications, you are most likely ready to take the MCDBA Boot Camp. To qualify for the boot camp, you are required to take a 25 question, 50-minute online skills assessment test.

Student Materials

You will receive Microsoft Authorized Courseware (not Microsoft Press self-study books, but the official classroom courseware from Microsoft) kits for SQL administration, SQL programming, Windows 2000 network infrastructure and Windows 2000 server / professional administration. These kits, together with the transcenders, comprehensively cover the four tests listed below. Microsoft official courseware is the definitive source for SQL and Windows 2000 learning.

In addition, MCDBA boot camp students get physical copies of Transcender tests for all the exams.Transcender is the undisputed leader in the test preparation software market. 

Vouchers and Exam

You will receive upto 5 test vouchers. The vouchers must be used during the MCDBA boot camp itself and will expire at the end of the boot camp. Having the extra vouchers can make all the difference. It makes you more confident and aggressive in test-taking because you are not losing money, if you don't get through on your first attempt.

The MCDBA Boot Camp will prepare you for the following exams:

• 70-216 Implementing and Administering a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure

All exams are delivered at the training center, which is an authorized VUE or Prometric Testing Center. We will provide a large number of testing stations dedicated to the boot camp. A test administrator will be available throughout the day, and in the evening, to register you for the tests.
