MCAD (VB.NET) candidates are required to pass two core exams and one elective exam in an area of specialization.

Pre-requisites

The MCAD (VB.NET) Boot Camp is designed for I.T. Professionals with knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and any programming language (preferably VB 5.0 / 6.0 or VC++).

Student Materials

You will receive full Microsoft Authorized Courseware (not Microsoft Press self-study books, but the official classroom courseware direct from Microsoft) kits. This custom kit, together with the Transender test preparation software, comprehensively covers the three tests listed below. Microsoft official courseware is the definitive source for .NET framework learning.

In addition, MCAD (VB.NET) Boot Camp students get copies of Transender test preparation software for all the exams. Transenders are the pioneers of practice tests, with the most realistic exam simulations. 

You will receive 3 test vouchers.  The vouchers must be used during the MCAD (VB.NET) boot camp itself and will expire at the end of the boot camp.

The BootCamp will prepare you for the following exams:

• 70-229 Designing and Implementing Databases with MS SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition

• 70-305 Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic.NET

• 70-310 Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET

All exams are delivered at the training center, which is an authorized VUE or Prometric Testing Center. We will provide a large number of testing stations dedicated to the boot camp. A test administrator will be available throughout the day, and in the evening, to register you for the tests.
